Microfibres are a 100 times smaller than a human hair and their star-like structure achieve an active surface area 40 times greater than conventional cotton fibre. In a dry application, the microfibre generates a static charge that acts like a magnet, locking in dust, until released during laundering. In a wet application the yarn absorbs seven times its weight in water allowing you to clean longer without having to rinse. Microfibre cloths are an effective cleaning strategy for removing bacteria and other germs from people contact points. Microfibre cloths are colour-coded to reduce the risk of cross-contamination. The 605 is a speciality microfibre cloth used on non-optical glass and mirror surfaces. The glass cleaning cloths leave a streak free shine behind and can be used successfully with squeegee cleaning programs.
